Zeek Afridi

Zeek Afridi (born April 14, 1979) is a Pakistani singer.
Afridi comes from Peshawar, Pakistan. His album "Bibisherinay", a selection of folk song in Pushto, took Pakistan and all the Afghani communities worldwide by storm. Since then due to popular demand by many in the Urdu speaking community, he has released the same song in Urdu.
Zeek Afridi's family belongs to the Afridi tribe of the Pathan Community. He passed his SSC examination at F.G boys Public School School in Peshawar and then passed his HSSC Examination at the Government College, Peshawar. After this he decided to go to university and complete his study in computer science and got degree from Peshawar University in Master in Computer Science. During his college life he started to sing in college competitions and won best singer prizes continuously which encouraged him to sing continuously. After completion of his study he decided to release his own album and so he did. He started his music career in 2001 and released his first album "Bibisherinay" which is a big hit and he became a famous singer in Pakistan.
During Zeek Afridi's preparation for his next album, organizer's from United Kingdom started to contact him for concerts in UK because large number of Pathan Community is living there. he relocated to the UK, where he is continuing his music career and doing MS in Human Resource Management.
