Talk:Zbigniew Herbert

I added the new The Collected Poems: 1956-1998. As I couldn't find the name(s) of the translator(s) on HarperCollins nor the Amazon website, I did a google search which came up with a review of the volume published in The New York Sun: The Sparring Poet. On the second page Milosz and Scott are mentioned, whose translations are left 'untouched' and Alissa Valles, whose translations take the place of the Carpenters. However, in any other review of this edition, only Valles is mentioned. So I'm a bit puzzled. Did Valles translate the whole of it, or does she share credits with Milosz & Scott? I don't have this edition yet, so maybe someone can clear this up in the mean time? LocusBeatus 20:44, 7 February 2007 (UTC) -- update: like the Sun said ;-) LocusBeatus 19:23, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
83.24.128.233's translations of titles seemed to me off the mark. I checked and updated them with help from the new Collected Poems 1956-1998 (2007) and http://www.culture.pl/en/culture/artykuly/os_herbert_zbigniew. LocusBeatus 21:36, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
