[edit] 27 April 2007: {{Infobox Indian Jurisdiction}}

Thank you for experimenting with the page Template:Infobox Indian Jurisdiction on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Saravask 14:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Zuhaib. I think you were just trying to get rid of the "{{{native_name}}}" and replace it with "Ambur" at Ambur. Next time you have such a problem, please look at other India town articles to see what is wrong with the infobox syntax (generally it is a problem with misformatted parameters, like misplaced "|" marks or something). Also, you can ask experienced users for help at Wikipedia talk:Notice board for India-related topics. If you want to play around with the infobox, however, please use Template:Infobox Indian Jurisdiction/Sandbox before uploading changes, to make sure that mistakes are minimized. Thanks! [edit] Belated welcome

Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the India WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of India.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every India article in Wikipedia.
  • Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Saravask 14:58, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
