Zoot Suit Riot is a compilation album by American rock/swing revival band Cherry Poppin' Daddies, released in 1997 by Mojo Records.

Once the swing revival movement started to blossom (sparked by bands such as Squirrel Nut Zippers), the Cherry Poppin' Daddies started gaining a larger, more swing-oriented fan base. After fans would ask which albums had the most swing songs on them, Mojo Records compiled most of the swing tracks from the band's last three albums into one album, along with four brand new songs, including the titular track.

'Zoot Suit Riot', and its subsequent music video, launched the band into the Top 40, sending the album to #1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers and nominating them for 'Best New Artist in a Video' at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards (despite the fact that the band had been active for nearly a decade).

The swing revival, along with the Daddies' mainstream popularity, quickly fizzled out by the turn of the century, but 'Zoot Suit Riot' still remains a staple of '90s pop culture and arguably the defining song of the movement.

"Weird Al" Yankovic recorded a parody of 'Zoot Suit Riot', entitled 'Grapefruit Diet', on his 1999 album Running with Scissors.
