Zemships

The project Zemships (Zero Emissions Ships) is developing a 100 person hydrogen passenger ship, power-assisted by an electric motor that gets its electricity from a fuel cell. The first boat will operate on the Alster in Hamburg in 2008[1]. The keel laying at the SSB shipyard in Oortkaten was on 4 december 2007[2].

The hydrogen station will be a storagetank with 17.000 liter hydrogen for refueling.[3]

Boat 25 m long, widht 5 m , a hydrogen storage tank 350 Bar, with two 50 kW PEM fuel cells (140 V DC) and an integrated battery, for 100 Passengers.
