[edit] Harry Nilsson
Hi, regarding your edits to the Harry Nilsson article. Due to the sometimes complex nature of copyright law, I believe the image you introduced to the article is a potential copyright violation under fair use rationale. I have replaced this with a publicity still that is acceptable to use to illustrate the artist in question. Let me know if i can be of further assistance, or if you would like a detailed explanantion. Thanks. Rockpocket 09:03, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again. Please stop replacing a valid use image with one what has a copyright status that is incompatible with Wikipedia policy. Continuing to do so, despite requests not to, puts the project at risk and may be considered vandalism. I appreciate you are attempting to improve the article, but please read WP:COPYVIO and Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image_guidelines before uploading pictures with incompatible licenses. I'll be pleased to help explain anything also. Thanks. Rockpocket 09:15, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, and Wikipedia:Fair use might be helpful also. Rockpocket 09:16, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
