Zzyzx (2005) is a thriller set in the Mojave Desert and Las Vegas. The film was written by Art D'Alessandro, produced and directed by Richard Halpern, and stars Kenny Johnson, Robyn Cohen, Ryan Fox, and Kayo Zepeda.

Two friends are driving to Las Vegas to spend the weekend, and one of the men, Lou (Johnson) asks his friend Ryan (Fox) if one could get away with killing someone in the middle of nowhere.
They explore the out-of-the-way Zzyzx Road and Lou tests out his scenario by running over an innocent stranger.
The dead man's wife Candice (Cohen) appears out of nowhere and leads to a web of murder, meltdowns, and double crosses.
