[edit] Notes and References
- ^ a b c d A non-voting delegate to the House of Representatives
- ^ a b The shadow Representative from the District of Columbia is not an automatic superdelegate according to the DNC charter. However, according to the Call for the Democratic National Convention, the District receives 2 unpledged add-on delegates, once of which is reserved for the shadow representative, assuming he is a Democrat.
- ^ Adrian Fenty, as the Mayor of the District of Columbia, is considered its governor for this purpose.
- ^ Democrats Abroad brings 8 total delegates to the DNC, with each delegate having half a vote.
