One reason we don't like ZEST RADIO SHOW is because, round here, writing all in capitals is SHOUTING and we don't like shouting. But the main reason is the show is just not notable. How many listeners (from independent audience research) does it have? See also WP:VAIN - wait until someone else writes it up. -- RHaworth 23:41, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your response, RHaworth.
I believe that your rash generilization, "One reason we don't like ZEST RADIO SHOW is because, round here, writing all in capitals is SHOUTING and we don't like shouting. But the main reason is the show is just not notable.", is somewhat telling of your representation of an entire encyclopedic community. Do you really speak for everyone here ? Per your pointed dislike of shouting via written text, I certainly apologize if I hurt your eyes with such a logoish approach to stating the name of the radio show.
I enjoy the next statement you relate in this correspondence. "How many listeners (from independent audience research) does it have? See also WP:VAIN - wait until someone else writes it up." You pose an important and relavent statistical inquiry. I did not realize that there was such research available regarding the listening audience. What if I was to show you an example of how the show has gained popularity throgh world wide community support. If you are up to the task of taking a few moments to read the following thread I authored, perhaps your disdain for the name of the show being written in capital letters, and your want for statistical notoriety will become more positive. I present to you, a history making event that drew attention from people all over the world. LINK
In context of your asking for my statistics, I would hope you would accept a reciprocation. My request is to ask you to please explain how you can speak for an entire community. When one delivers a message in context of using the word "we", I surmise that you are speaking on behalf of the entire Wikipedia community. Not withstanding, the element of agressivenes in your tone, does offend somewhat. However, I shall be tolerant of your expression of passion of keeping Wikipedia protected from not notable enough material entering the chasms of Wikipedia.
I note that you do make a very good suggestion though. Your statement, "See also WP:VAIN - wait until someone else writes it up.", O.K., here goes. It seems you have probably the best chance of writing about the show, (if you took up the challenge), as you are now entwined with the history of the show by the mere fact that you responded to my, "wait, do not delete" posting, and subsequent meanderings regarding zest radio show.
I shall look into the material you set out below your communication, and, perhaps, become a better contributor to Wikipedia.
Thank you for your interest in aiding of my education about Wikipedia.
Best regards,
ZEST
- Re capitalisation, I can say very confidently "we do not use all caps" - quote me any counter example. In other respects and on reflection my use "we" does read a bit arrogantly. But it is just the application of the standard injunction to be bold. Of course I cannot speak for the whole community - but I believe have enough experience to guess correctly most of the time what the community view would be! You have a democratic right to test my views - in this case, the procedure is to take "ZEST RADIO SHOW" or "Zest Radio Show" to Wikipedia:deletion review. -- RHaworth 04:05, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi, Stef Caunter here. The RG message board confirmation email is broken, so I'm posting here. I'm the 80s manager, did the incorporation, and AM licence; all the setup to allow the progression back to FM. We need to get Lysaght to post here, but I can't find an email for him. He was the 60s/70s guy and will know what happened to the original FM setup. No FM gear existed at all from 1985 on, and I knew every inch of the mansion and physical plant. The only gear was the carrier current setup. I too have heard about the FM signal story, but it was in the 70s in my version. Basically, we don't know. But it never happened in 1988 - impossible. Anyway, google me and find my email address. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stefancaunter (talk • contribs) 17:40, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
