Zhou Bohua

Zhou Bohua (Chinese: 周伯华; July 1948 - ) is the current minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) of the People's Republic of China.
Zhou was born in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. He started working from September 1968, and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1970.
From June 1981 - January 1982, he was the vice director of Zhuzhou city economics commission in Hunan.
From January 1982 - August 1986, he was a researcher at policy research office in CPC Hunan committee.
From August 1986 - June 1990, he was a standing committee member of CPC Zhuzhou municipal committee, and the executive vice mayor of Zhuzhou.
From June 1990 - January 1993, he became the vice secretary of CPC Zhuzhou municipal committee, vice mayor and later, mayer of Zhuzhou.
From January 1993 - October 1995, he was the vice governor of Hunan Province.
From October 1995 - November 2001, he was a standing committee member of CPC Hunan committee, and vice governor of Hunan.
In November 2001, he was promoted to vice secretary of CPC Hunan committee, and vice governor of Hunan.
From March 2003 - September 2006, he was the vice secretary of CPC Hunan committee, acting governor, and later governor of Hunan Province.
Since October 2006, he has been serving as the minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
He is a member of 17th central committee of the Communist Party of China.
