First, thank you for our contributions and work on Josip Broz Tito article. I can imagine how much vandalism occurs on this page.

I was born in the old country but grew up in US. I was always curious about Tito and his amazing journey from simple beginings to one of the greatest leaders of XX century. His success and achievements are inspiring. To satisfy my curiosity I have been reading archived articles in American press on Tito starting from WWII. Based on this reading I have added fair amount of referenced content.

Not disrespecting your input we have three disagreements:
1. Birthdate: having two birthdates without further explanation weakens the credibility of the article. A reader can't help looking at this and wondering why are there two birthdates and which one is accurate. Encyclopedia Britannica uses his true birthdate, 7th only. His addopted birthdate, 25th is not mentioned. I think there is benefit to keeping both but I think 25th can be mentioned later in the article along with the story of the second date.

2. President for life title was given to Tito in his 80s and was more of an honorary title then self imposed dictatorship that your leadership link implies. I think this title can be left for later in the article. Chief architect is more inclusive of all the different roles he held, president for life being just last of them.

3. Omitting term "second" and saying just Yugoslavia is not accurate. Yugoslavia was founded in 1918. Demokratska Federativna Jugoslavia was founded in 1943 and has changed names number of times. All of that is known as Second Yugoslavia. This is accepted term and I don't understand why are you opposing its inclusion.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Ston-walls.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ston-walls.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:19, 10 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 03:19, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I took this picture and put it under CC license, along with the other 3 images I uploaded around the same time (they seem to have had their license changed as well??). I see no reason to delete it, but no worries since it is not used anymore...just found it really strange --Zivan56 (talk) 04:21, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
I did not see your authorship or CC license, but since you appeal the deletion, I have undeleted it to give you seven days to add source and license.--Jusjih (talk) 02:24, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
