A view of large scale replica of the Santa Fe Chief on November 11, 1939. The miniature locomotive and cars have rubber wheels. Inscriptions on the locomotive reads "3460," "John Purcell," and "Santa Fe." The passenger cars have advertising banners, two read: "Never a Better Year To Go West;" "Fares Are Surprisingly Low;" "Best Way to the Golden West Exposition;" "Fred Harvey Meal Service..." A man stands near the locomotive of the replica beside railroad tracks.
