Zoo is a stop on the Northeast Line (Route 202) of the C-Train light rail system in Calgary, Alberta.
The station is located in the centre of Memorial Drive Northeast. It serves the Calgary Zoo, as well as the community of Bridgeland.
Stylistically, the design of Zoo Station differs from the other stations in the C-Train system as it incorporates images of animals and dinosaurs. The section of the station that serves as an underpass below Memorial Drive also houses several permanent zoo-related exhibits.
In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 1,100 boardings per weekday, the lowest of any station (due to the lack of any connecting buses or significant trip generators other than the Calgary Zoo itself).[1]
