[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Mean-Hamster-Logo-Rev.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Mean-Hamster-Logo-Rev.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Mean Hamster Software

A tag has been placed on Mean Hamster Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kolindigo 23:18, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you.--P4k 23:30, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you.--P4k 23:33, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mean Hamster

You've created both articles Mean Hamster and Mean Hamster Software. If the actual name for the company is "Mean Hamster Software", then you should move the content in Mean Hamster to Mean Hamster Software and then make Mean Hamster a redirect page to Mean Hamster Software. Plus, if, as I saw you mention on Image:Mean-Hamster-Logo-Rev.jpg, you are the CEO of this company, you may have a conflict of interest and may want to ask someone else to improve the article. --Temporarily Insane (talk) 21:20, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Mean Hamster Software, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. I deleted the page as it seems to be there only to promote that company. In addition the fair use image you have is not acceptable without a fair use rational. But if you own the rights to the image as you claim, you should not use fair use. —— Eagle101Need help? 23:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
