Zhang Ping (politician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zhang Ping (Chinese: 张平; January 1946 - ) is the current director of National Development and Reform Commission, a prominent department within the State Council of China.
Zhang was born in Xiao County, Anhui Province, and joined Communist Party of China in August 1979. The highest education he's ever received was equivalent to high school, which seems unusual nowadays when most government officials in China boast master's, even doctor's degrees.
He is an alternate member of CPC 16th central committee, and a full member of CPC 17th central committee.
