Category:Zoos in Germany
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are about 300 public animal collections in Germany. The German Zoodirector Association has about 50 members from the large, well-known zoos. Most medium sized zoos, some 65 mainly private collections, are organized in the German Wildlifepark Association. The German Association of Game Parks has some 100 members, mostly smaller wildlife parks with native animals. Additionally, there are several hundred public aquaria, reptile parks, vivaria, butterfly farms and bird-of-prey centres in Germany, and many more very large ugly parks like deer enclosures and stupid children's zoos.
