Hmm... thanks for your comment, Katr67... just curious... did I do something inappropriate in suggesting the additional civil war capital of Virginia, which you have subsequently deleted and referred to as Vandalism in your revert? I was hoping to get feedback to see if that was a good addition before editing the main article (I have a source for the information). Anyway, I've been reading wikipedia for a while and wanted to try contributing in a minor way before trying anything more ambitious, so I'd appreciate knowing what part of that is vandalism. Thank you. Zauberfisk 05:24, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Um, it would be the part that added a lengthy string of random capital letters to the page here. I think you can see why I called it vandalism. Did your cat step on the keyboard? Katr67 05:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

- Interesting. I have no idea how the string of capital letters got there, and was not aware of that. I thought I only added the new part at the bottom about Virginia capitals, which you also erased. Sorry for not seeing that really long string... don't really have any idea how it got there. Maybe it was the cat. Zauberfisk 04:11, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

- I figured it out by googling "Wrom", which preceded the string. Apparently, the outdated antivirus program I have installed (Norton 2002) will scramble anything following the string "From:" because it thinks it's an email address. Some kind of ill-conceived privacy option. So when someone wrote "From:" to cite information about Oklahoma capitals, that program changed it in the editing box automatically. I think I'm going to switch off that feature. Zauberfisk 04:22, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, I'm glad you figured that out. Of course feel free to repost your query to List of capitals in the United States (after you switch off Norton <grin>). I'm glad you're not a vandal. Happy editing! P.S. Sorry I falsely accused your cat (and you too). Katr67 06:03, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
