Image talk:Zellweger Sketch.jpg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In an effort to address the constant uploading and removal of non-free and fair use images to Wikipedia, some editors have suggested using illustrations of famous people to show what they look like. This is my first good faith effort to solve this problem.
If you think my illustration is ugly, you may note that here. If you feel that you can draw better, I encourage you to add portrait content to another article that may need your expertise. Remember, your illustration must be release as GFDL, Creative Commons or public domain. --Knulclunk 16:20, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not bad! It does look like a quick sketch, though, with extraneous lines and whatnot left in, and some small details (e.g. eyelashes) not included. Λυδαcιτγ 01:11, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not to be a killjoy, but I think, if you should use drawings in an encyclopedia, they would have to be with a lot less artistic class. Greswik 19:08, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
The reception has been kind of lukewarm. Ah well. Perhaps the conversation will come 'round again.--Knulclunk 02:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
