The article does need alot of work, but zach hill is definately notable enough to get an article.Zopwx2 (talk) 01:20, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Opinion
Yes, we all know Zach Hill kicks ass, but this is an encyclopedia, so be careful about opinionated statements like "one of the most talented drummers" and such. --Machty 19:07, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
I've seen Hella a couple times and I could swear that he uses a double bass pedal. He definitely bounces his left foot off the high hat constantly while playing. The action of which I attributed to the constant ba-BUMP ba-BUMP ba-BUMP bassdrum present underneath his playing. (In reference to the claim that people are wrong to believe that he uses double bass.) --Anthony without a Wiki account 16:50, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
I GUARANTEE you he does not use a double bass pedal. Just look at the Hella dvd "Concentration Face" which has many clear shots of his foot work. You can probably find photos online that have clear shots of his feat as well. Cyclopseslayer
He is only using one foot for sure. For sure. "Concentration Face" shows it all. --Machty 18:27, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
I Went to Grade School, and Jr High with Zach and I remember he started druming in at least 93 maybe earlier and he was a great cartoonist he could draw some crazy stuff. Talented Guy. I still have my Jr High Year Book with Zach in it.
- Really? I went to High School with his brother, Noah. R'son-W 05:22, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tribute
For a full discography, proof of a single bass pedal and lots of other information, see www.myspace.com/holysmokesthesquire. It is a tribute to Zach Hill.
[edit] Sources Needed
I think the article needs some sources for the "Zach is self taught" quote, and the section about how he is a "hard hitter." Julian Maestas 15:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
