[edit] Zrkoz
A tag has been placed on Zrkoz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Zrkoz. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. DarkSaber2k 14:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

This article is simply a biography of a youtube user. There are many of there out there, for example, Smosh, lonelygirl15, etc. I do not understand why this is any different. If i am not understanding something, please let me know!!!!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zrkoz (talk • contribs).
- I can not speak about articles you mentioned as you provided no links. Please read WP:WEB and WP:BIO to see our inclution criteria for websites and people. Be assured that if those other entries fall short of these criteria they will also be deleted. Agathoclea 14:51, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- See Lonelygirl15#References for the outside presscoverage that establishes the notability of the - fictional - Lonelygirl15. Now can you claim a similar presscoverage of Zrkoz? Agathoclea 14:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Can you show the same for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smosh

- Let me see, Smosh has been covered by TIME magazine (maybe you've heard of it?), BBC news, The New York Times, ABC News, NBC Today Show, CBS Early Show and others. Totally acceptable for both notability and reliable sources. DarkSaber2k 15:03, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, I have been interviewed for the NYTimes for my ketchup commercial
- Prove it. DarkSaber2k 15:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Seconding this, also creating an article about yourself is considered a Conflict of interest Wildthing61476 15:17, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
http://select.nytimes.com/search/restricted/article?res=F50A12FD3C540C758EDDAC0894DF404482 I am tis one: One of the most viewed Heinz videos -- seen, at last count, more than 12,800 times -- ends with a close-up of a mouth with crooked, yellowed teeth. When Ms. Kaplan Thaler saw it, she wondered, Were his teeth the result of, maybe, too much Heinz?

- 3 sentences hardly qualifies as a non-trivial source, and one mention in one place is not the multiple secondary sources that Wikipedia requires. The proposed article still fails both WP:WEB (for the fact that it is web content) and WP:BIO (for the fact it is about a person on the web.) DarkSaber2k 15:22, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

BUt, another important thing is the number of views on that video... that must have got to mean something
- Not by itself. If the article met notability rules then it could be mentioned, but views/google hits/subscribers etc are not really accepted as a source of notability, especially if no other sources are available. DarkSaber2k 15:37, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
