Just a few poems I have written witch I hope to bring joy to all who read

Barley by the sea - thy earth defend my life to mend like bending barley blowing by the wind so slowly send thy soul to be by my rolling solace by the sea.

My little lake of time - As I stare in to the lake of time The little lake of mine it is so sublime honored like a pearl cast before swine your years are deep and so fine and your years collide with the little boat of thine like a ripple amongst the sea in a bitter time of agony your waters are blame less yet always suggestive and for only one times your waters may be festive and shalt never rest till the time of which I die.

The Evils of Scientology

L. Ron Hubbard created Scientology in 1952. Scientology claims to heal virtually all physiological and physical aliments, it believes in past lives, aliens, psychiatry is evil and that men are fallen gods (84). Scientology is officially a recognized religion in the US, despite the fact they infiltrated the government several times. In most European Countries Scientology is not considered a state recognized religion. It also is considered by some to be a scam, cult and a suppressor of knowledge, the Church of Scientology claims 3.5 million in the United States and 9 million worldwide. However this is disputable since the population of the US is three hundred million and independent census reports disagree with the claimed number of Scientologists (60). Over the years there have been many strange deaths and controversies revolving around Scientology (58). Famous Scientologists Include Tom Cruise and John Travolta (61). French sociologist Regis Dericquebourg categorized Scientology’s belief system of that of regressive utopias, in which man seeks to return to a once perfect state through rigorous spiritual exercises. Indeed one of the goals of Scientology is to have control over MEST or mater, energy, space and time as well as the development as a spiritual being (68). Scientology has a wide swath of humanitarian activities and claims to have a 90% success rate at curing people of drug addictions. Scientology claims they want to create “ a civilization without insanity, without criminals and war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights and where man is free to rise to greater heights, (are the aims of Scientology”) (76). However by doing these noble deed they use Lafayette Ronald Hubbard’s “holy works”. This is similar to some Christians seeing the Bible as the blueprint to all truth. For example these truths are only recognized only in the bubble of the religion they were created in. LRH is such a prophet to Scientology that after the release of Dianetics in 1950 Scientologists refer to AD 1 as 1950 (77). AD in Latin means “the year of out lord”. Scientology is with out doubt a fundamentalist religion. However according to Scientology Hubbard said he was no more than a man. However one must question when Hubbard died in 1986 the next head of the Church of Scientology David Miscaviage in a speech to fellow Scientologists stated Hubbard did not die but left his body in order to continue his research on the upper Operation Theatan levels on Scientology. A Theatan is roughly equivalent to a Human soul or spirit. The OT levels are the upper levels of Scientology. If one ignored Scientology’s cosmology it would be very similar to the Christian Scientists. Scientology believes the soul alone can save the body. In other words Scientology is an anti materialist ideology. Some Scientology practices deal with teaching about how to relieve oneself of physical suffering. Christian Scientists promote physical healing through prayer just as Scientology believes through rigorous training one can become free of “false” realities that plague the spirit. Scientologists believe Hubbard is a Poet, Screen writer, poet, lyricist, essayist, Humanitarian, drug rehabilitator, Criminal reformer, Administrator, Philosopher, Artist, filmmaker, composer, choreographer, explorer, aviator, archeologist, mineralogist, master sea captain and most important of all horticulturist. He also according to Scientology was once the worlds youngest eagle scout, a blood brother of Black foot Indians. He is also, a friend of the last magician from a line of courtiers of Kabuli Khan, miracle healer, war hero, and much more (78). This paper describes only a small portion of the actions of Scientology, Although Scientology is a new religion it is increasingly complex. In fact Scientology harbors five out of the eight aspects of mind control according to the book thought reform and the psychology of totalism these include “Milieu control” “mystical Manipulation” “sacred science” “loading the Language” and “Dispensing of existence”. “Milieu control” is when leaders control the free flow of information. This is shown with recruits of Scientology being warned that if they know the upper levels of Scientology before they reach it they may die or become spiritually unenlightened this is also shown in stunting cult communication with the outside, by cult leaders. Scientology contains some “Mystical manipulation”. “Mystical manipulation” is when newcomers to a cult are told of the higher purpose of the group they are entering, this also involves “everyone brainwashing everyone else. For example Scientology posters proudly boast “it is possibly a bit over your reality to say we intend to salvage this sector (of the Universe) no one has been able to do it for 75 million years” in layman terms Scientology is the champion in enlightening man. “Sacred science” regards a cult that uses scientific evidence to “prove” it is correct and its ideology is inherently true, this is shown in Hubbard mentioned credentials as well as his claimed voyage across Asia to find the answer to the “human problem”, “Loading the language” creates many singular concepts loading into words, Scientology contains so many individual terms that the Scientology culture needs a dictionary to understand what the hell Hubbard is talking about, thetan is soul, KSW is keeping Scientology working, overt is sin and wins are epiphany’s and outsiders are wogs. There are even more, this language helps crate a distinctive somewhat isolated culture. “Dispensing of existence” is determining who is saved or needs to be destroyed. In this paradox unbelievers are looked down upon as being evil lost or an enemy. Conservative Christianity can be shown akin to this practice where unbelievers are lacking enlightenment and or are lost or unenlightened. In Scientology defectors are often harassed just as Psychiatrists are who are practicing “Xenuism” (not a real Scientology term but rather used to denote people who wish to oppress mankind). The book thought reform and the psychology of totalism was published in 1956 (79). Understanding Scientology beliefs are also important if one wants to criticize the Church of Scientology. Although Scientologists believe in aliens and reincarnations this doesn’t even come close to understanding the organization in full. In Scientology there is the reactive mind and the analytical mind. The reactive mind is activated in times of unconscious, for example if a person is playing baseball and he is hit in the head and becomes unconscious and some one says to the pitcher “you are no good”. The reactive mind records “you are no good” to the unconscious. So when seeing a baseball the man who was hit with triggers the reactive mind a ball thinks he is no good. This is vaguely similar to classical conditioning. Scientology through Dianetics (the Scientology bible) seeks to eliminate the reactive mind. The reactive mind is also the source of practically all ills according to Scientology most of all ills are phycosyamatic. The analytical mind according to Scientology is the part of the mind that is consciously used and aware, it deals with solving problems. Scientology other than curing ills claims to increase intellectual intelligence. by eliminating the reactive mind one will have a free analytical mind free of Engrams or unpleasant traumas and the ability to think clearly. Another core Scientologist belief core is the ARC triangle, a stands for affinity or degree of affection, R for reality and C for communication. Scientology says when one is risen the other two factors do. For example if one increases affinity one increases reality and communication as one rises the rest rise (80). Scientology is a quasi-religious ideology first and commercial organization second. If one does not believe consider this; one can order, if poor, a free Bible at www.freebibles.net for absolutely nothing which is not a big deal. After all a whole book of “salvation” only costs fifty cents to be made in China (57). If this whole free idea does not appeal to one, one can buy 34 books from the Scientology website for 3,500 dollars which evens out to 102.94 dollars per book (1). Why is the difference between the two books so drastic? Ron Hubbard the founder of Scientology has been widely attributed to of said by many including his own son Ron Jr. that the quickest way to make a million was to start a religion (2). If that shocks you maybe the cost of the E-Meter will baffle you, The Church of Scientology’s main spiritual tool costs 12.50 to make but can be sold by the Church of Scientology for only 162 dollars as of 1963 as determined by the US government (3). If that shocks one, some models may cost as much as 1114.16 American dollars (4) these devices however measure no more than changes in electrical resistance in the body a far cry from Scientologists who claim the E-Meter helps heals 70% of all physical and emotional problems (The Emeter at most has been shown to be a crude lie detector) however some Scientology practitioners have claimed it to be therapeutic (5). This may be enough to arouse general suspicion against Scientology. Scientologists have it lucky, When Scientologists want to take a course sometimes they do not have to pay for it rather they have to donate money for it, in other words forced donations (28). some of these courses may cost up to 33932.35 dollars. There is one scary thing however, on the official Scientologist website (www.scientology.org) there is a passage that asks, “Does it cost a lot to be a member of the Church (of Scientology) and take services?” The answer is no, but if you read behind the lines, it clearly states that four years membership could cost as much as 90,000 dollars not including books (30). However this is only a small price to pay for a step to regain ultimate control over space and time as well as continuing in the universe without a body (29). Christianity in general may have a 10% tithe that is generally expected. If the average American worker makes 32,000 a year, four years tithe is 12,800 dollars. This makes Christianity (if the tithe was required) 7.2 times less expensive than Scientology. By using the same calculations we see a 70.31 percent “tithe” can be demanded by the Church of Scientology. Beware of those who sell knowledge for a fee for they care more about the wealth of individuals than the enlightenment of man. Not only this but recruiters of Scientology gain a 10% commission for “religious services” the recruited has taken (52). Where does all the “extra” money go? In Gilman Hot Springs California a place relatively in the middle of nowhere, there are private golf courses a private movie theater, a private fitness room, and a private swimming pool and tennis courts all on five hundred acres of land. Gilman Hot Springs is the nerve center of Scientology; there lives David Miscavaige (the head of Scientology) with other Scientology leaders (54). Not even the Pope lives this lavishly in Vatican City; he only lives on 108 acres (55). The scary thing is there are one billion Catholics worldwide and at most nine million Scientologists (56). According to Scientology’s website it says “Scientology does not have hundreds of years of accumulated wealth and property like other religions — it must make its way in the world according to the economics of today’s society”. But the Puritans did not charge a ridiculous cost to be Christian. And by the way Puritans came to the new world with nothing they had to create infulstructure form mud (81). Scientology also has strange copyright practices. When the King James Version was assembled in 1611, the Church of England did not bother to copyright it (22). Scientologists, however, have copyrighted their “cross” books and writings. Scientologist websites clearly warn that replication of the “knowledge” on their websites is strictly prohibited (23). The Church of Scientology showed the world it was serious. Scientology threatened to sue in January 2008 to get a leaked Tom Cruise dedication video removed from the Internet (25). This attempt however backfired because the dedication video used the music from Mission Imposable, leading the composer of the Mission Imposable music to sue the Church of Scientology for copyright infringement (33). Other famous censorship attempts include Tom Cruise Demanding a South Park episode critical of him and Scientology not be aired (27). Scientology has also threatened to sue the owner of the website scientomogy (31). The reasons are copyright infringement and presumably bad PR. If this does not sound monopolistic enough, this will prove quite amusing The Church of Scientology sued Time Magazine 415 million dollars for criticizing Scientology; they however failed. Scientology also sued the Russian Orthodox Patriarchate of Moscow for publishing brochures calling Scientology a totalitarian cult (32). The Scientologist claim was defamatory comments (24). In fact Scientology has sued so many times that when you Google “Scientology lawsuit” or “Scientology sues” you will find an enormous search result that is shocking (26). Unsurprisingly all the works mentioned above are critical of Scientology in fashion. This is in fact a gross violation of freedom of knowledge and speech as well as the perpetuation of unbiasness. One cannot stop only at the suppression of dissent and fraud used by Scientology. In 1970 Paulette Cooper published a book called The Scandal of Scientology (6). Christianity a relatively pacifist religion has the doctrine turn the other cheek if you are attacked to not attack back (Matthew 5:38-42). Scientology has a different moral doctrine called Fair Game which states critics of Scientology (Suppressive Persons) may be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist or “may be tricked, lied to or destroyed” (10). According to the Scientology a SP is someone who prevent betterments of society and the Individual but because Scientology claims to help people critics of Scientology are primarily labeled fair game (71). This doctrine was taken to the extreme regarding Paulette Cooper. On July 8th, 1977 the FBI raided Scientologist offices in Los Angeles and Washington DC what did they find? Around 4800 documents some documenting public and private theft by the “Church”, but one stood out that document was called “Operation Freakout”. “Operation Freakout” documented Scientology plans to get Paulette Cooper incarcerated in a mental institution or jail or at least make Paulette Cooper so exhausted she stops her assaults on Scientology. Scientologists almost succeeded with this if it was not for Cooper taking Sodium Amytal a truth serum, for this reason she was cleared of making bomb threats to the Church of Scientology (8) Operation Snow white was committed by the Guardians office a branch of Scientology that deals with public relations, legal matters and investigation work (now renamed the Office of Special Affairs). Guess who the head of the Guardians office was, None other than the wife of LRH’s third wife Mary Sue Hubbard. Mary Sue was convicted of the operation and spent four years in a federal correctional institute. Weather or not LRH was involved in the operation is up to debate. However one must take in to account how can the president not know what the CIA is doing. During the 1977 raids the FBI also found another document that stuck out “Operation Snow White” in which Scientologists infiltrated the government. This was the single largest (known) infiltration in US history. In this operation over 136 government agencies were either infiltrated or burglarized. This began in the 1970s and was ordered by Hubbard to remove US government information critical of Scientology (9). The government raids also discovered documents on a scientologist escapade to get Gabe Cazares convicted of a phony hit and run incident (21). Cazares was the mayor of Clearwater, Florida when Scientologists started “occupying” Clearwater as its “spiritual headquarters”. Cazares was suspicious of the “cult” and said the city was being taken over by Scientologists. Scientologists did not take too kindly to that and sued Cazares for one million dollars. The experiences of Paulette Cooper can be token in to context today. In early 2008 an Internet group called Anonymous started posting anti Scientology content on the Internet primarily on you tube. Anonymous at first was somewhat anarchic with suggestions of putting sugar in gas tanks and going to Scientology “churches” to flush rubber gloves down the toilets to cause damage. Anonymous could be denoted similar to any ideology. For example any critic of Scientology could be a member of Anonymous. This is similar to Unitarianism where one can be a Unitarian because of your beliefs without knowing you’re a Unitarian. Scientology in response released videos on you tube claiming that anonymous had threatened to plant 5 kilograms of nitroglycerin in a scientology “church” which of course would kill people, the video exists but the question is if Scientology is capable of such deception regarding Paulette Cooper what else are they capable of. It is up to Speculation if Anonymous posted such violent material on you tube, however Scientology has created websites on the web publicizing the evils of anonymous (83). The Church of Scientology is also dangerous to intellect. Scientologists believe that 75 million years ago there was an alien named Xenu the ruler of the galactic confederacy. This Alien was upset with the overpopulated status of his planets. So what did he do? Under the pretext of tax inspections and with the help of psychiatrists kidnapped many aliens (to depopulate his planets) and froze them in a mix of alcohol and glycol. Xenu then transported them to Earth in DC-8’s with rocket motors. Then Xenu placed all the frozen aliens around volcanoes and dropped hydrogen bombs on them. The souls of the dead aliens tried to go back but were sucked in to electronic soul catching traps set up by Xenu. The souls were then put in to a soul brain-washing facility where they were brainwashed by Xenu and shown 3-D movies about Jesus an Angel and a Devil. The aliens then occupied human bodies during the rise of man. It may also be worthy to mention the dead alien ghosts are the sources of all our problems (59). This is why people believe in Christianity or so they believe (11). Why does this sound like science fiction story? This is because Hubbard was a science fiction writer before he “prophetically” created Scientology (34). It might be worthy to mention for clarification that the previous information is only told to scientologists in the upper levels of the organization and has come in to notice by many Scientology defectors including Jason Beghe a minor actor who extraed on such shows as Numb3rs, CSI NY, Criminal Minds, Cane and Veronica Mars and acted on such movies as GI Jane and Monkey Shines (74). Top-level scientologists usually “deny” the existence of this doctrine due to the secrecy and “sacredness” surrounding it; this is also enforced beforehand with the Scientologist promising not to reveal the information that will soon be entrusted to him. In the rare cases scientologists do admit the Xenu Story they say it is akin to biblical dogmas and is more symbolic than literal, although The Xenu Incident is highly publicized in respectable publications it remains one of the true mysteries of Scientology (65).

Scientology also can be delusioned to physiology mental and physical. Scientologists are against the usage of medicine in general. This anti physiology policy is applied especially to psychiatry, biology and bio psychiatry. Bio psychiatry deals with seizures, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological problems as well (13). Charles Darwin the theorist behind evolution has been criticized. Scientologists paint Darwin as a teacher of the “man from mud” theory, not only that but he taught that men cannot rise to higher levels of spiritual awareness. According to Scientology Darwin taught, “The idea that life was a chance happenstance resulting from a chain reaction in a sea of ammonia”. Scientologists hint that Darwin borrowed his Idea from an Egyptian myth where man arose from the sea .It might be worthy to note that although Darwin’s taught natural selection he never mentioned that life arose from a sea of ammonia. Contrary to this he theorized evolution as a naturalist on the HMS Beagle. During the four year and nine months voyage he saw many closely related organisms and he proposed they came from a common stock. Scientologists might of innocently confused “the sea of ammonia” with the Miller-Urey experiments in which Stanley Miller and Harold Urey postulated the life could of arisen from earth’s early components Water, Methane, Ammonia and Hydrogen. This experiment could be attributed to a Darwinist belief not Darwin’s own beliefs himself (66). It is also a possible scientologists took this “sea of ammonia” from Hubbard’s works, Hubbard wrote "the theory that man is an animal who arose as a result of a spontaneous accident from a sea of ammonia, and by the stages of development called evolution arrived at the proud estate of a two-legged wog. The man from mud theory was taken by scientists from Egyptian demonology and foisted off on man as modern thought” (69). Certainly no great monument of thought can stand upon a single pillar, The Abrahamic religions have Abraham, Moses, Solomon, David, Jesus, John the Baptist Mohamed and Rumi. Scientology has prolific science fiction writer L Ron Hubbard. Certainly when the House of Scientology is shown its pillar is hollow and void it will collapse. Although it is possible Abrahamism is just mere mythology it is notable that Scientology is built upon the works of one only one man. Scientologists also vilify Ivan Pavlov a Russian physiologist, he is best known for his work on the digestive system and the psychological doctrine classical conditioning. Scientologists say Pavlov used his Physiatrist skills to serve Stalin and make men mindless servants of his diabolical regime. However according to the online encyclopedia Britannica as well as the Nobel Prize Organization, Pavlov strongly disliked communism. Pavlov even publicly denounced communism and even refused the Soviet administrator who financed his laboratory permission to enter it. Pavlov even famously said when referring to communism “For the kind of social experiment that you are making, I would not sacrifice a frog's hind legs!” Scientology is also adamant about psychology. Scientologists claim that physiatrists are opposed to all religions, patronize men as animals and believe man has not a soul (35). This paranoid doctrine created by Hubbard might have to do with his book Dianetics, the “Scientology Bible” which denied the Germ theory and said all physiological and psychological ills can be cured by auditing a sort of psychoanalysis (usually with an E-meter) (36). Who criticized this book? None other than medical professionals and people in the field of psychology (37). By the way unlike the Bible, Koran, Avesta and Torah you cant read Dianetics on the Internet you have to buy it for about 20 dollars (72). Scientology also says Osama Bin Laden was influenced by a psychiatrist Al Zawahiri (whom they claim was his advisor). Although scientologists claim that Zawahiri is a psychiatrist is false he did study psychology. Zawahiri did become a surgeon for the Egyptian army however he never practiced psychiatry or psychology (16). Scientology also rejects the common belief that Osama Bin Laden was inspired by radical Islam. Scientologists suggest religion is too good to inspire such violence (15). According to Freedom magazine a Scientology publication it says “mind doctors pushing a political agenda under the guise and expense of Islam our magazine continues its probe of the psycho terrorists and their murderous actions”. This is somewhat Ironic because the Crusades (inspired by Zealous Christianity) took place long before psychiatrists existed. However if psychiatrists were around 75 million years ago why couldn’t they be around circa 10,000 BC. The Church of Scientology has also gone as far to state psychiatrists are responsible for the Holocaust (14). Their anti psychiatry does not stop there. Scientologists prefer Touch assist. This doctrine is preformed by repetively touching the hurting part of the body in order to heal it. For example instead of taking Pepto-Bismol for a stomachache Scientologists will have someone repeatedly touch their stomach so they can “communicate” with their body and hence fore dissolve the pain (17). Scientologists also claim to have “technologies” in which a drunkard can become sober in a few minutes in reality this “technology” is little more than playing Simon says (18). With out a doubt this can increase DWI’s and DUI’s significantly and kill people. It might be a symbol of Irony that according to Lafayette Ronald Hubbard’s son Ron Dewolf, Hubbard wrote some exerts of his book Scientology a History of Man came from when Dewolf was high on Benzedrine at least according to Hubbard’s son. Ronald Dewolf (82).

Scientology can also be destructive either “Church” sponsored or “Church” influenced. Jeremy Perkins was diagnosed a schizophrenic scientologists treated him with vitamins in order to suppress his mental disorder, however this was futile. Jeremy Perkins on August 14th 2001 trespassed at the University of Buffalo he was arrested and a court ordered physiological exam proved he was a schizophrenic. He also claimed to be looking for the goddess Artemis at the university. He also told questioners he believed he was Jesus Christ. His mother also refuted advice that Jeremy should get psychiatric help. On March 13th 2003 Jeremy Perkins tries to slit his wrist when this fails he stabs his mother 77 times killing her. This is due partially to Jeremy believing his mother was trying to poison him with pills (the vitamins). Jeremy Perkins was charged with murder in the second. However he was ruled innocent by reason of insanity (20). Sadly his family has disconnected from him. It would be nice if this were the only Scientology death related to physiological ills however this death scale is magnified when applied with quackery. On November 18th 1995 Lisa McPherson a scientologist got in to a minor car accident, she was not hurt but she immediately got out of the car, took off all her clothes and muttered to the paramedics she did not need a body to live. When she arrived at the hospital the staff advised she get a psychiatric evaluation, she denied with the help of fellow scientologists. From the hospital she was “admitted” as a patient at the Fort Harrison Clearwater Hotel (38). The Scientologist staff proceeded to administer McPherson with Introspection Rundown; the purpose of Introspection rundown is to cure a person from psychosis or mental illness. Scientologists believe that depression or psychosis is caused by being introverted. They also believe being isolated from society they will give cause to look outward (39). After this she was transported to Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater Florida. When she arrived she voluntarily sighed a waiver stating if anything happened she would not sue the Church of Scientology (40), she also however in this waiver gave away her right to leave (until her caretakers decided it was time). On Lisa’s first say in isolation she seemed mentally unstable and claimed to be Hubbard as well as creating the universe 3 billion years ago (41). The second day walked like a robot and claimed to be controlling others (42). On the third day she spat out any food she had in her mouth instead of sleeping she would jump up and down on her bed (43). The fourth day she developed a fever, punched out an attendant and babbled incoherently (44). The ninth day she ate only a few bites of food her condition gets worse here on. The thirteenth day her caretakers ran out of Chloral Hydrate her sleeping medicine (45). On day fifteen she developed sores. On this day she is practically immobile. Eerily she believed her caretakers were trying to kill her (46). On her seventeenth and last day (Dec 8th) she looked very sick and was rushed to the hospital, not the one a mile away but the one that was 24 miles away (which had a scientologist doctor on staff). Unfortunately time was not on Lisa McPherson’s side she died enroute. Lisa McPherson’s caretakers state McPherson wanted to go to the hospital of her choice, however one must think when some one is immobilized and is without a doubt psychotic, can she make decisions. Sadly on the first day of her stay she tried to leave and this happened several times, she was restrained by security guards (47). The autopsy report showed she died of a pulmonary embolism a blockage of an artery from the heart to the lungs; bed rest and dehydration caused this. She also had had many bug bites on her from cockroaches. This was reaffirmed by the Petersburg Times who contracted five doctors to examine the autopsy report, they all found it valid. Upset with the findings the Church of Scientology “contracted” their own forensic pathologists, whom discredited the first autopsy report (48). Whatever the reason for her death it is at least suspicious. It may also be worthy to note two days of her stay there were missing, and if her condition was worsening why didn’t they bring her to the hospital immediately? Scientology can also be divisive to kind and kin. Prominent atheist Richard Dawkins was born into the Church of England and grew up with his family in Nairobi, Kenya. However during his teens he slowly shifted from Theism to Atheism. Dawkins had minimum conflict with his parents over his new theological platform (49). God knows how many times Richard Dawkins criticizes religion, and God knows he is not disowned by his parents or stalked by Christians, In fact It is arguable that Evangelicals are itching to bring Dawkins in to Gods love. Scientologists have a disconnection policy in which people whose relatives criticize the Church are disconnected from their Scientologist kin. Jenna Hill Miscavaige is not like Richard Dawkins; she was born in to the Church of Scientology to Scientologist parents. However, she was not raised with them, rather she stayed with the children of other Scientology executives. When she was 16, her parents left the “Church”; Jenna was not allowed to see her parents until they threatened the “Church” with legal action. From then on she saw her parents once a year. However when she returned to the “Church” Scientologists would give her an E-meter “test” to see if her parents said anything negative about the Church of Scientology. Nevertheless this was much better than the prior year in which she was not allowed to speak with her parents for a year. Jenna’s uncle is David Miscaviage, the current head of Scientology. Jenna left the “Church” two years ago when she was 22 (50), making her much like Hubbard’s disaffectionate son Ron Dewolfe, who said he almost died of an abortion attempt at Hubbard’s hands (51). And Jenna like Lisa McPherson was physically restrained from calling her parents by Scientologists while in the “church” (63). Jenna also said that she was going to be declared a suppressive person for her criticism of the Church of Scientology. Suppressive People can be targets of Fair Game (12). Tory Christman was another such example; Tory spent 30 years in the Church of Scientology. She was strongly devoted for a long time until she had a seizure and ended up in the hospital because she stopped taking her seizure medicine. Tory came in contact with Andreas Heldal-Lund who was highly critical of Scientology. Andreas helped Tory post a comment on alt.religion.scientology a directorate page on the Internet that deals with Scientology, doing so Tory’s opinion was heard. The two slowly developed a mutual friendship and Tory realized that although Andreas was a Suppressive Person he was a good person. Tory left the Church of Scientology when she realized this. Because of this all of her friends left her as well as her husband. Tory now is an activist against Scientology and a labeled SP, hence fore Fair Game (53). Many of the things mentioned about Scientology may be hard to believe however in this case Mark Rinder the head of Office of Special Affairs (Scientology public relations) admitted to this practice in an interview with the Rolling Stones Magazine. Rinder said disconnection is a last case scenario. According to Rinder Scientologists first try to discourage and persuade an apostate to stay. Tom Davis the head of the Scientology Celebrity Centre when asked what happens to apostates, who are not persuaded, responded, “Then I guess not believing in Scientology means more to them than not seeing their family” (64). Scientology claims disconnection is both a necessity to spiritual enlightenment and a human right. In reality scientology is the hand behind the glove, when a scientologist leaves the “church” he is asked to sigh papers promising he will not speak about his experiences in the “church” if an apostate fails to sign these papers he is usually disconnected from his kin and kind. Hensefore Disconnection has three purposes to suppress dissent to discredit critics and to better ones spiritual enlightenment (75). It might be interesting to know that the Celebrity Centre focuses on “helping” celebrities, In reality this “helping” has helped Scientology to a large swath of celebrities including Tom Cruise, John Travolta, the voice of Bart Simpson, the voice of “Chef” on South Park, Kristi Alley, Jenna Elfman, Jason Lee, the wife of Elvis, the daughter of Elvis, Katie Holmes and seriously much much more, but this is a whole different story. Disconnection can also be due to knowing a suppressive person; people who know a Suppressive persons are called PTS or potential trouble sources. In the middle levels of Scientology one should never have an accident or arthritis or any physical difficulty. The only reason Scientologists in these middle levels and up have “accidents” is they are connected to a SP. Hence fore a Scientologist must Disconnect from the SP. Failure to disconnect from the SP can cause problems for other Scientologists in the Organization (70). PTS is in other words persuades Scientologists to disconnect from the person who is causing them spiritual dysfunction (or so believed). In summary Scientology is dangerous to wealth, knowledge and health, this is somewhat ironic because Scientology claims to give people all they in reality they take away. Hubbard who dabbled in Satanism and adopted the nickname the Beast must have been proud (62). Mohamed speaks of such a figure he shall be called the Dajjal. Mohamed said “shall I not tell you of the Dajjal the story of which no prophet told his nation the Dajjal is one eyed and will bring with him what resembles hell and heaven and what will he call heaven will be actually hell so I warn you (against the Dajjal) as Noah warned his nation against him”. In the Hadith (an Islamic holy book) the Dajjal will seek to destroy all that is good until Jesus kills him in the Levant (63). Evil wears not a black gown and walks around with knives in bloody hands. Evil hides behind the white veil of God and caries a crooked gavel but this gavel comes down not on the wicked, instead the gavel comes down upon just about everyone who dare challenge Evil. Lafayette Ronald Hubbard’s son Ron Dewolf once said “Scientology and all the other cults are one-dimensional, and we live in a three-dimensional world. Cults are as dangerous as drugs. They commit the highest crime: the rape of the soul”.
