[edit] 'Dark Templar energies'

"The second time the Overmind went into shock, it was critically weakened by Tassadar and Raynor and finally obliterated by an immensely powerful (and suicidal) psionic storm by Tassadar, while channeling all his Dark Templar energies." — wasn't that a combination of both regular and dark templar energies? I was under the impression that the Overmind's death required both to take it out. –Xoid 11:41, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] influences

isn't the Starcraft Overmind a different take on the Overmind from Arthur C Clarke's Childhood's End. Both are cosmic entities who seek to assimilate vast cultures and races unto themselves. The SC Overmind is far more material and sinister, whereas, Clarke's Overmind is less materialistic and not as antagonistic. Freelancepolice 16:37, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
