Talk:Ziezi

"Ziezi ex quo vulgares" - What is the translation of this? Is it related to bulgarians?
- No. It is the Latin word, vulgares, "common, ordinary, usual". There were no Bulgarians in the 4th century, though the Bulgars may already have been formed in Asia. Alexander 007 08:51, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
"In the early 2nd century, some groups of Bulgars migrated from Central Asia to the European continent and settled on the plains between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. Between 351 and 389, some of these crossed the Caucasus and settled in Armenia."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgars --Vladko 05:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
