Zwick Roell Group

The Zwick Roell Group is the world market leader in static testing machines and systems for materials and components testing. They manufacture products which are used to evaluate the mechanical and physical properties and performance of materials and components, and have a rapidly growing business in the dynamic test segment. Core static tests carried out with this equipment includes tensile, compression, flexure (also referred to as bend), and cycling.
Operating internationally in 56 countries, the group has manufacturing facilities in Germany and the UK, and strategic headquarters in USA and Singapore.
As of 2007 the Group employs 960 staff in its international operations, generating revenues of more than 135 million euros.
Zwick is a recognised global leader with its high end research testing systems, and its 'ProLine' machines which are specifically aimed at routine testing of materials and components. It is also a global innovator regarding materials testing software with its testXpert(r) platform, digital contact and non contact extensometry and has pioneered robotic materials testing systems.
Zwick has achieved design accolades including:
