Zero flight time
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ZFT - Zero Flight Time simulation/simulator. This is a high regulatory standard of aircraft simulator allowing already experienced pilots to convert to an aircraft type of similar characteristics to that already operated, solely by the use of high-quality flight simulation.
- After ZFT conversion, the pilot's first flights in the aircraft itself may be on revenue flights under the supervision of an already-qualified training captain.
- ZFT applies to Full Flight Simulators of the higher international regulatory Levels C and D.
