Zaamslag

Zaamslag (51°19′N, 3°55′E) is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Terneuzen, and lies about 28 km southeast of Vlissingen.

Zaamslag was a separate municipality until 1970, when it was merged with Terneuzen.[1]

In 2001, the village of Zaamslag had 2004 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.52 km², and contained 823 residences.[2] The statistical area "Zaamslag", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2920.[3]
