I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

[edit] Contributing to Wikipedia

G'day Zeem,

Welcome to Wikipedia! It's great to see you're willing to help out here. However, there are a couple of things we'd like you to keep in mind. The first is that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia. It is not a how-to guide or anything like that. The second is that we can only accept original writing or text compatible with the GFDL. That means we'd like you to sorta stop copying and pasting text from other websites now, please — using copyrighted text as if it were ours can get us in serious trouble. Thanks, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 15:02, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
