In "facts" box it shows a population of 70,015, but in the text it shows 62,700. Don't know which one is the correct value. Please find out and correct. Paulnasca 08:13, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
The "history" part is not objective. One gets the impression that after the Treaty of Trianon (1919) nothing happened in this city. There is not a single mention about the period about 1919 and the romanian population. Please correct it.--Empaler2 18:00, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The objectivity of the article
The author Biruitorul seems to be very focused on the ethnic aspect of the city. He tries to emphasizing exhaustively that before The Trianon Treaty the city had a Hungarian majority and since then mostly nothing happen. From my own research A LOT happened since then in the respective city from the rapid industrialization sparked by th Romanian gov to the city becoming the political center of the county.I propose the article be fully re-written.

[edit] Population
The last part was extremely biased. You can't call yourself objective and present the 2002 census as being a fake. Saying that the numbers of the census were purposely lowered contradicts the facts. The 2002 census was monitored by international and European officials that agreed to the perfect validity of the census.
