[edit] concern about your username
Hello, Zaldis.vatlers, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed your username, and am concerned that it does not meet Wikipedia's username policy.
Specifically, it appears to violate the requirement that usernames must not match the name of a well-known living or recently deceased person, unless you verifiably are that person, in which case please note this on your user page.
You can keep your contributions history under a new username. Visit Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the guidelines there.
Thank you. Exploding Boy 18:27, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

- Dear Exploding Boy,
-
- The username Zaldis Vatlers is not a name of any living person. There is a person called Valdis Zatlers in the Republic of Latvia, however I believe the difference between these two names is obvious.
-
- Should you still insist on changing my username, I might consider to submit. So, what's the verdict?
-
- Zaldis Vatlers
To begin with, to sign your posts simply type four tildes (~). Your user name will be inserted automatically.
As to your user name, it strikes me as similar enough to create confusion, especially since you edit the page on Zatlers. Feel free to request input at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names if you like, but my feeling is that the recommendation will be to change it. Exploding Boy 19:19, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] About your blog
Hi, please note that wikipedia is not a place to advertise yourself. You might be interested in editing of Latvian presidential election, 2007 as well, however read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view first. I'm guessing that you might have free images (read Wikipedia:Image use policy) of Latvian Politicans, if so please consider uploading them---- Xil/talk 22:51, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
