Thanks, though I'm not sure which map you mean. Anyway, Hochlinden is called Stodoły in Polish, Stodolny is merely a typo made by this site. Anyway, Stodoły, as the village was called before 1937 and after 1945 are now a borough of Rybnik. At that time the village was a separate entity exactly on the Polish-German border, on the German side. On modern maps it's easier to find Rybnik, then search for the Rybnik Reservoir and the village/borough is right next to it. And Chwallentzitz, or whatever the Germanized name is, is Chwalęcice, also a district of Rybnik, located immediately to the south of Stodoły, also along the Rybnik Reservoir. Just open your google maps, browse for lat=50.135058, lon=18.475186 and you'll see both.

Finally, I believe there were no changes of the Polish-German border in the thirties, so any map published after the Silesian Uprisings would do. //Halibutt 22:37, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
