[edit] 2007 PEI Election

I was gonna add the other candidates, but you beat me to it. Great minds, think alike. GoodDay 21:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

PS- assuming you're a PEI wikipedian (like me), you should create an account (become a registerd user, like I am). GoodDay 21:09, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
You've registered in, great. Welcome aboard. GoodDay 19:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

The PEI district articles don't need those external links. They do nothing to enhance the articles. GreenJoe 22:11, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. But it's not like they are linking directly to the Elections Prince Edward Island page on the individual district, so it seems like it's becoming a spam link. GreenJoe 22:15, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your help with the external links. I did look at the Elections PEI website, and they do have pages on each district. If you want to link to each one individually, I'm ok with that. So for example link directly to the page for York-Oyster Bed directly from that article. GreenJoe 22:28, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alberton-Roseville and Tignish-Palmer Road

Hello, Zyga2k6. I've made changes at these Districts, concerning List of MLAs. Technically speaking, MacLead & Dunn (least no yet) were never MLAs of Alberton-Roseville, Gail Shea was never an MLA from Tignish-Palmer Road. GoodDay 20:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I've reverted my changes back, should be more discussion on them at 2007 PEI election. Perhaps changes should be made, after the election. GoodDay 21:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
I'd suggest, removing the MLAs from the new Districts & make a wiki-link to the article of the predessor District. Example: at Alberton-Roseville make a mention of Alberton-Miminegash. Afterall, if we were add all MLA's from the Districts past (as we're doing here), then the list would go back to the 1860's. Anyway, not much can bee done 'til after the 2007 PEI election. GoodDay 21:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I like your suggestion (at my page) best. Delete the old District articles (example: Tignish-DeBlois) and make mention of them at the new district article (For example: in the Tignish-Palmer Road opening paragraph, add 'Tignish-Palmer Road, was formerly Tignish-DeBlois from 1996 to 2007. In this way we can keep the MLA list intact. GoodDay 18:52, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Tignish-DeBlois redirect to Tignish-Palmer Road is neat, great idea. GoodDay 19:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
