[edit] Arvantites
Hi Zogu,
Sorry about that. I feel that the above warnings about "vandalism" are unwarranted. You have not been vandalizing the Arvanites page. However, you do need to edit in good faith, which means trying to reach concensus on the talk page with the other editors - including the ones you don't agree with! That's how things are done here: We're a community, and need to work together. If you continue to delete information without showing us that it's wrong, it might come to be seen as vandalism by more people, such as myself.
Let me know if you have any questions. If you're not sure how the community works, or how to justify your contributions to Wikipedia, maybe I can point you in the right direction.
I have issued a public warning to both you and Matia on the Arvanites talk page. Matia stopped reverting your edit after that, but you continued. There are other people who don't like what you've done, and you need to come to an understanding with them. They've already discussed many of the points you raise, and have come to an understanding about them. Now they see you as undoing all their work. If you continue to revert the article without engaging in dialog with the other editors, I will block you. Take this as your second warning. The third will be a 24-hour block, then a longer block, etc. I'd rather not do that though. The articles are much stronger when people who disagree can get each other to understand their views, so that everyone is included.
In the meantime, take a look at Wikipedia:Consensus.
Take care, kwami 11:39, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, let's try this again. There is some debate over whether Arvanitic is a separate language or a dialect of Albanian. (This isn't a simple question. See the talk page.) Since there is an Arvanitic language article, that should be linked. Of course, it's fine to reference the debate ("considered by many to be a dialect of Albanian" or something), but it's not alright to censor links you don't like. Also, most Arvanites speak Greek, so you shouldn't remove that. You've provided no source for the claim that they belong to the Albanian church, while the sources in the article say the belong to the Greek church. Etc etc. And you're still refusing to engage in discussion.
- We expect people to edit in good faith as part of a community. If you continue this, I will block you. Please justify your changes on the talk page. kwami 00:01, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] WP:3RR
You have been blocked for 24 hours for violating the 3 revert rule. Please do not revert any article more than 3 times in a 24 hour period. Also, please discuss on the talk pages for the articles. For instance, on Arvanites you revert 5 times with no talk page contributions. Respectfully. Wikibofh 14:31, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Discuss changes, don't just revert
I suggest that you should discuss your proposed changes on article talk pages rather than simply reverting. If you continue, you will be blocked again and for a longer period. -- ChrisO 11:41, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Wikiethics
Hi,
We started a proposal Wikipedia:Wikiethics to state the existing policies coherently and make suggestions on improving the editorial standards in Wiki. I thought you might be interested in contributing to that proposal.
Unfortunately, a pro-porn and pro-offense lobby is trying to make this proposal a failure. They unilaterally started an approval poll although almost no one including me believe that it is time for a vote, simply because the policy is not ready. It is not even written completely.
Editors who thinks that the policy needs to be improved rather than killed by an unfair poll at the beginning of the proposal, started another poll ('Do we really need a poll at this stage?') at the same time. The poll is vandalized for a while but it is stable now. A NO vote on this ('Do we really need a poll now?') poll will strengthen the position of the editors who are willing to improve the ethics policy further.
If you have concerns about the ethics and editorial standards in Wiki, please visit the page Wikipedia:Wikiethics with your suggestions on the policy. We have two subpages: Arguments and Sections. You might want to consider reviewing these pages as well...
Thanks in advance. Resid Gulerdem 22:29, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Beslidhja Skaut Albania
Beslidhja Skaut Albania has been proposed for renaming (along with other foreign-language Scouting article titles) to bring it into compliance with the spirit of both WikiProject Scouting - Rules Standards, Article names and Wikipedia:Naming conventions.
The discussion about this is currently taking place at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Scouting/Translations#Proposed_article_name_changes. No one involved speaks Albanian. Since you speak Albanian, could you please help out? --evrik (talk) 15:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
