The college may be prestigious for some, but those who have studied there - it was pure hell. Vicious bullying and relentless teasing was the order of the day. Some students became the target of all the others. When one target was selected he was beaten up by an entire group of students. No one in the administration ever said or did anything. Gay gang rapes happened regularly. The victims did not report them, out of shame and fear of repercussions. Other students who were involved in a gay relationship were dismissed and the charge was misconduct, no mention was made of what the real reason was. If parents knew about the horrible conditions of this college (and others like it) it is doubtful any one in their right mind would get their son admitted there. The former prime minister of Pakistan ZA Bhutto when he was canvassing for elections try to a make speech there, the then Principal Commander Feroze Shah did not let allow him to do so. As soon As ZA Bhutto became prime minister out of sheer vindictiveness had the principal removed and the vice principal took over. The students protested the removal, amongst them was Asif Zardari the husband of Benazir Bhutto. The students hijacked a bus and took to Hyderabad, went to the news agencies Pakistan Press International and All Pakistan Press and announced that college would remain on an indefinite strike till the former principal was not reinstated. The strike lasted three months till the police was told restore order. During ZA Bhutto's tenure as prime minster one of the students masterminded an gay orgy in Iqbal House. He was dismissed, but he came back because he had connections in Bhutto's government. He ran a gay prostitution ring as long as he was there. Incompetent teachers were hired and students cheated in exams. The name of the college is misleading In the corner stone it is written Pre-Cadet College Petaro. Parents who have their sons admitted imagine that their sons would join the military after completing education which is never the case. In the early years the Pakistan Army ran the college later it was handed over to the Pakistan Navy.
